How to best store the lip balms?
Our lip balms are 100% natural, we use unrefined, fresh, organic and 100% natural ingredients. No artificial preservatives are used. Thus they need to be stored accordingly to ensure longevity.
We recommend that you store them between 4° to 22°C. Please do not leave them in direct sunlight or hot cars. While our lip balms are heat stable, the melt & solidify cycle can change their texture. Proper storage, away from direct sunlight & heat will ensure you’ll retain the original smooth and creamy texture.
How long does a tube last?
This depends on how often you use the lip balm. For normal use it can last approximately 4 to 6 months.
We handcraft our lip balms in small batches to ensure fresh yummy lip balms are sent to you. We recommend you use them within 12 months.
Are your tubes recyclable?
Yes our tubes are recyclable. We use FDA approved, BPA-free, non-toxic food grade #5 tubes.
Do you add any alcohol to your balms?
No we don't. We have found that alcohol based lip balms tend to dry out lips.
Which of your Lip Balms are for Cold Sore Treatment, Cold Sore Remedy, for Preventing and Healing Cold Sores?
We have two Lip Balms that have been crafted with scientifically proven active ingredients for Cold Sore Care and these can be used daily to help keep cold sores at bay, treat cold sore symptoms, help speed healing of active cold sores and keep your lips nourished.
These are are our Prevent & Heal - Lemon Balm & Geranium Lip Balm and our Prevent & Heal - Lemon Balm & Peppermint Lip Balm. Both have the same formula except the the Lemon Balm & Peppermint Lip Balm has the added freshness and benefit of Peppermint Oil.

Do I need to use both your Cold Sore Remedy Oil and Prevent & Heal Lip Balm to help with Cold Sores?
You do not need them both - however we recommend both the oil and lip balm to be used in conjunction for particularly cold sore prone lips.
Our Prevent & Heal Lip Balms can be used daily to help keep cold sores at bay and nourish your lips.
It is also for use on active cold sores to help speed healing, for use at the first sign of a cold sore to help prevent the cold sores blisters from forming or to reduce severity, to help reduce frequency of recurrent cold sore outbreaks, for relief from cold sore symptoms, to stop infection and stop active cold sores from spreading and overall for the treatment and prevention of cold sore outbreaks.
Our Cold Sore Remedy Oil is very potent (as much as > 10 times our lip balms) and is NOT for everyday use. It is only for use at the first sign of a cold sore to help prevent cold sore blisters from forming or to help reduce severity and for use on active cold sores to help speed the healing process, to stop infection and stop active cold sores from spreading, to help reduce frequency of recurrent cold sore outbreaks and overall for the treatment and prevention of cold sore outbreaks.
Both products can be used together or independently of each other based on personal preference and the frequency and severity of cold sore outbreaks.
What type of flavours do you use in your lip balms?
We either use pure essential oils or 100% natural and certified organic flavour compounds.
Which Yes Organics Lip Balm is best for me while I am using an acne treatment such as Accutane?
We recommend our Cocoa & Hempseed Lip Balm for dry/chapped, itchy and inflamed lips resulting from use of acne treatments such Accutane.
Do you ship internationally?

Do you have a SPF (Sun Protection Factor) lip balm?
Currently we do not have a dedicated SPF lip balm.
However all our lip balms use ingredients such as shea butter, hempseed oil, coconut oil, beeswax etc. that have naturally occurring SPF of around 3 to 7.
For proper SPF protection it is best to get a lip balm that has been tested and given a SPF rating.
